The historical walks

We go the library, second time this week. This time kids take 10 big books. Sighs..... We leave the kids @ the library under the care of  Mirchi n Ginger. Off we ladies go for some  purchase. Later we go for junk- snacking.

Hillbilly's bucket bargain

The Historical walks. It starts from The Market Square. There's this fascinating sculptor of a man climbing. That's Jason Black, the Letterkenny man who becomes the first Donegal person to scale Mt Everest on 19 May 2013. Cool. '' No mountain is too high or no problem too big to conquer'' says Jason Black.

Jason Black @ the tip of the world

The statues

The Irish Coffee @ The Brewery Restaurant. The bar is just oppose to the historical walks. The ladies leave the kids among the statues n go to The Kitchen to drink Irish coffee. Arrey, you get Irish coffee only in the bar . It contains alcohol ! Off we go to the bar. Yeah. The bar. Coffee+ whiskey + cream + sugar. OMG! I manage to drink it somehow but this not my cup of coffee.

The historical walks lead to St. Pius X Adoration Chapel alongside the cathedral. It's a steep walk. The grotto n the tiny chapel. Very calm, quiet n solemn.

We wind up the historical walks here and go to the town park. And decide to call it a day. Ham sausage is waiting to be devoured....
