Lopota lake

Georgia ! We reach Tbilisi early in the morning. A tiny airport. Outside it's cold. The first thing that we smell rather than notice is the smell. Of smoking. Cigar seems to be an appendage of almost all the men here in the morning. 👀

Lopota Lake n Resort lies in a remote place, a 2 hr journey from Tbilisi airport. Lake resort ! It's our first time ever resort trip. Yeah. And isn't splendid. God, it's cold. Not a soul in sight. Breakfast starts at 9 pm only. So. The lake. Cocooned by the Caucasus mountains, the lake boasts of a string of restaurants, pools, resorts, spa , entertainment n sports facilities and a wide range of trees and plants.

Most of the resorts are occupied with tourists. Many of them Arabs. The sun is up n bright. So we take a walk around the lake. Mmmm. Life is beautiful. This feels so good.

So, the walk around the lake offers a delicious lunch, biking, table football , sea cycling and of course photo shoots n filming. The food. We go for pork bbq , chicken n rice. Pork is heavenly. With the help of the chef , we settle for the local wine - Marani. I could die right now. Mmmmm

After wearing out the lake, walkway and the pool with jacuzzi, we head back to the resort. We don't have bath in Kuwait, only shower space. Pepper in her excitement splashes water all over the bathroom floor. Darn. No drainage hole on the floor. The housekeeping lady seems cool about it. Fine. The night is cool. I'm so loving the mini bar in this room 💫

To gorgeous Georgia

After not much dispute n discussions, discarding Turkey, Dubai and Qatar, we are off to Georgia. Yay. A historic journey. For the first time forever, we are travelling to a foreign land, where we have no relatives nor friends. This is epic. You won't understand the magnitude of this spontaneous decision. Let this be a precursor.

It's a four day four night trip. We got a night flight to catch. Fly Dubai. Not very exciting. No food, drinks, headphones, not even blanket. Who wants to buy those onboard? But. Guess what ! We go to the airport in BMW. This is my first ride in this supposedly supercool car. And tried to 'experience' the short trip to the airport. Sheikh   Saad airport is shockingly small, neat , efficient and crowd free. Of course, this is our first time here. They won't even allow us to take water bottles! Anyways. Here we come, Georgia.
