fire !! fire?

I'm not surprised. This is our fourth visit to the library. After the unusually elaborate pleasantries, the librarian encourages us to take more books. The bookworms start their search. The elders settle onto the tiny chairs meant for kids. We notice a new notice on the wall. 'Do not leave kids unattended in the library.' Ooops! This is purely for us. We always leave the juniors n tiny tots here and roam about the main street. Ok fine. Suddenly, the alarm goes off ! The fire alarm. The librarian n the 2 assistants put on florescent yellow n orange jackets and urges us to step outside the library. What's this? If they do not want to issue any more books to us, they can tell us face to face. Do they need to call the fire fighters? The old ladies among us decide to go home. We stay back. Nothing happens. Finally the librarian gingerly steps inside, we follow suit. Along comes a torrent of Irish English explaining the situation. We don't understand much, but the bookworms decide to dig. Aha !

This time we leave the juniors @ the bookery n take the tiny tots along with us. Apparently, the weather changes. It's cold n windy all on a sudden. We stop @ Yellow Pepper. The plan is to have proper, tasty steak worth the euro. We order steak medallions. Yummy, Tasty. God help me, I'm loving  potatoes - mashed ones n even the chips. It's 6 o'clock. This is our dinner then. Yes, like the Irish we too are having dinner in the evening. Cool. Off we go home feeling totally Irish.
