I have never told anyone that puli/sour is my favorite flavor.  Then how the hell did she know?  These tamarind and mango rices are from Chums.  She sends the mixture.  I garnish it with rice.  I know I didn't do it properly.  If only I could eat it hot hot from her kitchen !  Anyway, I reached heaven and came back with tingling teeth.  You are extremely welcome to send more my sour lady.

Prophet's birthday was on 14th, day before yesterday. Emir postpones it to 16th so that we can celebrate it together with weekend.

It's been eons since I tried plantain fritters. Nobody likes plantains here. But these are spl ones. From Kerala....... from cousin sister's own land. And so the fritters are extra tasty n crispy.

A very wise lady indeed ! These books serve two purposes - motivation and justification. There are about 75 stories. Actually they are instances/moments from her life. Inspirational.  At the same time Sudha Murthy uses these books to explain n defend her life as a social worker. Smart. I liked the motivational part. The books are written in a very simple language. Thread softly for it's the life of a living legend.
