Historical walks - Part II

County Museum

An old Irish village

The Gweedore Sheep War Quilt

County Museum is part of historical walks. It's a tiny building. A must visit for those who are interested in the history of Donegal. The first floor depicts the people, culture and history of Donegal in details with pictures. It's worth going through it. The museum has not much artifacts nor objects to boast about. The historical portraits n pictures  compensate it. God! How the Irish suffered!

It drizzles. Amazingly, me n my sister are the only people walking with waterproof jackets n head gear like eskimos. Irish people walk just like that even without a hat. The old couples too. We take the shelter of the shop but resumes our evening walk since we feel funny standing there while everyone enjoys the rain. What the drizzle ! Apparently, the rain walk calls for hot coffee.
