Accidents Like Love & Marriage - Jayashree Misra

Yes , an accident of course. The shocking pink jacket in itself is a huge turn off. Yet the South Indian name - Jaishree - provoked me to pick up and read the book. Inside the jacket ,  the content is frivolous and preposterous. The novel is about the triangular affairs of the Sachdevs , Menons and the Singhs. The plot has been stretched beyond limit. The impeding doom that been predicted in the first few chapters to evoke suspense in turn tests the reader's patience. There are numerous laugh out loud dialogues and situations , but they look laborious and artificial and the end product is a bleak satire. True , love and marriage are irreparable accidents...
