aftermath of bubble bath

Our bathrooms in Kuwait are devoid of tubs. Bathing space is not at all an attractive feature for kids. So, they are naturally thrilled to see huge tub here. To take bath itself is a himalayan task. And so risky to  bathe everyday in this climate. In case of hospital calamities, I need to call the insurance people and  go through hundred formalities. Better not to bathe at all. It's been 2 weeks, tub is still a dream. Today the sun is smiling. So, the much awaited bubble bath. Horror of horrors! Irish bathrooms do not have drainage holes. One shouldn't spill water on the floor. I don't want to speak about the absence of pipes, buckets n cups! Pathetic. So, here is Pepper blissfully happy after her most awaited, much promised bubble bath. Soon we go for shopping. Sun means ice cream for Irish. It's a shame to walk outside without one on a bright day. One cone is more than a tummyful. We reach home @ 9. Sun is still there.

Now.  Pepper complains of earache. Holy potatoes ! She has a horrible history of ear infections. What to do? I give her a bullet sized Panadol tablet. She is sleeping now. She twists n turns, coughs once  n breathes heavily. Hospital is the only place I don't want to visit here.

 Oh, girl !

Sleep n peace are now miles n miles away........
